Welcome to the August 2024 Construction Update for Habitas Aurora! Below you will find the latest information in relation to construction progress on site.

Landscape Enhancement Works

In addition to housing construction, we are pleased to advise that landscape enhancement works are underway on the Habitas Woodland Conservation Reserve. These works include installation of dedicated seating nodes, feature bollard fencing and educational signage, providing the community with greater access to, and understanding of, the rich ecological and environment values of the site.

Earthworks
Re-shaping of the ground to allow construction of roads and drainage connection to each lot. Estimated timeframe 4-6 weeks.
sewer and
drainage
Provision of a sewer connection to each lot and underground drainage system. Estimated timeframe 8 weeks.
water and gas
Provision of water and gas pipeline connections to each lot. Estimated timeframe 3-4 weeks.
sub-grade
Developing a firm material base underneath roads and footpaths. Construction of kerbs and drains to enable channels from stormwater to travel to underground drainage system.
electrical and nbn
Electrical cabling and NBN to enable internet connection for each lot.

Footpaths, asphalt, topsoiling and road completion.

All internal fittings including architraves, skirting, doors, built-in shelves, baths, basins, troughs, sinks, cabinets and cupboards are fitted or fixed into position.

Planting of street trees for nature strips and trees in common areas as appropriate and landscaping in and around properties.
practical
completion
All building work is either complete or close to completion, in accordance with the contract/agreement with the relevant authorities. Property is reasonably fit for occupation.
final inspection
Final visit by building inspectors to ensure all fittings, fixtures are complete, in good condition and built to the standard and specification as indicated in relevant contracts/agreement. Certificate of occupancy is issued.
handover
All works are finalised and ready to hand over to purchaser to move in.
